BEETROOT CURRY

    Prepare the beetroot first.

    Cut the top off and discard damaged leaves and stems and wash the fresh leaves well.

    Peel the skin off the beetroot and wash well.

    Cut beetroot in half, slice it and cut into strips.

    Shred the fresh cleaned leaves.

    Add all the ingredients into a pan except the lime or lemon juice and milk.

    Cover and boil for four to five minutes.

    Add lime or lemon juice.

    Finally add the milk and let it boil once.

    Remove from fire.
