Sweets and Cakes

I have added some of my recipes on how to make Sri Lankan sweets and cakes. I asked my late mother where she got the recipes for the Butter Cake, Rich Fruit Cake and Love Cake, Kisses (Macroons) etc. She told me that British Missionaries ran the private Christian Schools in Sri Lanka and taught them how to make these recipes, together with other special recipes including biscuits and stews. I have included some of the recipes which I learnt from my mother.
