HOT AND SWEET MEAT OR CHICKEN BALLS

    Place the mince, soaked bread, salt, soy sauce, chilli flakes, pepper powder, vinegar, ginger and garlic paste, chopped parsley or coriander and chopped onion in a bowl and mix well.

    Make small balls to the size of ping-pong balls.

    Dust the balls in plain flour.

    Heat the oil in a shallow non-stick fry pan.

  5. 5

    Place all the balls gently in the pan and shake it around so the meat gets cooked all around.

    Reduce the flame and fry for three to four minutes gently turning the meatballs.

    Finally add the sweet soy sauce and sweet chilli or hot sweet chilli sauce and gently stir until the meatballs are well coated with sauce.

Serving Suggestions

  • - Arrange in a dish and place a toothpick on each meatball so it is easy to serve as a snack.
