DEEP FRIED CHILLI PRAWNS

Instructions

    Dry the washed prawns with paper towel.

    Add salt, chilli powder, lime juice and set aside.

    Heat oil in a frying pan.

  4. 4

    Fry five or six prawns at a time.

  5. 5

    Cover and fry for four to five minutes until reddish brown in colour.

  6. 6

    Drain oil on paper towel.

  7. 7

    Repeat the process and fry the rest.

Serving Suggestions

  • - Deep fried prawns could be served with fried dried curd chillies (available in Sri Lankan stores) or fried onions.
