CANNED FISH CURRY

Instructions

    Heat the oil in a frying pan.

    Sauté the sliced onion, garlic, capsicum, tomato (if using fish in brine) and curry leaves, for one minute.

    Open the can of fish, (retain some water or tomato sauce).

  4. 4

    Gently add the fish and break it with a spoon, from the middle.

  5. 5

    Add chilli powder, curry powder and salt (if required).

  6. 6

    Simmer for two to three minutes on low fire until gravy is fully absorbed.

    If gravy is required, add half a cup of water or regular milk and simmer for a minute.

    Finally add lime or lemon juice to taste.
