Instructions

    Wash the rice and set aside for a five to ten minutes.

    Cook the rice with water and stock cube for half an hour in a pan.

    Day old or left over cooked rice is recommended.

    Heat the oil in a wok or a frying pan and stir-fry all the vegetables, ginger and garlic.

    Add the shredded meat or chicken and fry for a minute.

  6. 6

    Add the light soy or sweet soy sauce and salt to taste.

    Finally add the cooked rice and mix well.

Cooking Options

  • - Quickest method is to use a rice cooker or cook rice in a microwave rice boiler for fifteen minutes, on high.
  • - Rice of your choice could be used for the above recipe. Follow instructions on the packaging.
  • - Meat could be removed for vegetarians.
