    Wash the vegetables, cut as directed and boil with all the ingredients in a stockpot for twelve to fifteen minutes.

Cooking Options

  • - For added flavour, make a bouquet garni with(spices and herbs such as pepper, coriander seeds, or coriander leaves, basil, parsley or bay leaves) tied together in a muslin cloth and boiled with the vegetables. Remove from soup when cooked. Bouquet garni is available in the super markets located with the spices section.
  • - Mixed vegetables may be cooked with 100-200 grams of chicken pieces or bones for non-vegetarians.
