PLAIN COCONUT ROTI
Instructions

Mix all the ingredients; use a dough hook to mix the pastry or knead with the hand.

Make eight to ten equal size balls.

Apply oil on a flat surface or on a plate and flatten each ball to quarter inch thickness.

Alternatively, you can roll out the dough and cut circles with a pastry cutter.

Heat a flat pan or a non-stick pan and place the roti.

Cook for thirty seconds to one minute on each side on medium fire.

The roti will turn white in colour and some burnt marks will appear.

Repeat this process until all the rotis’ are cooked.

If preferred, add chopped onion, green chillies and curry leaves to the roti mixture for savory rotis’.
